How to map your Website to your Custom or personal domain name #Map #DomainName #WWW #.com

 

Simple go to google - Type GoDaddy to log in to your account 

Log in to your GoDaddy account - below screen will show 

select Your login name from the right corner - we need to go to my product - 

Once you select My Products option - below screen will appear- 

Scroll down and in the domains section - click on 3 dots right corner- Select Manage DNS option - Highlighted in yellow - then below screen will appear 

Just stay with your GoDaddy account and open your blogger site in another browser. We need to work on both parallelly.

Now go to your Blogger site - Choose your blog Name - go to the Setting option - Highlighted in blow

Here just click on the Custom domain option -Just enter www. Your Domain Name like Copy from your DNS Page & Paste here – Click on Save.- Refer below screen. 

Once you click on the Save button - below screen will appear - 

Now Simply go to your GoDaddy login open the below page - We need to work parallel on both login 

Go to blogger site- 

Simply copy the first & Second highlighted string and past it in the below DNS text box.

Paste First Copied string into Host Textbox

Page Second Copied string into Points Textbox

Click on Save.

Go to Blogger site- now select below-highlighted 2 strings - 

Now paste as per the below suggestion.

Go to GoDaddy -

Here click on highlighted CNAME option – click on the Edit – Pencil icon. - Below window will appear –

Here www is already there – so need not copy that option -  just copy the second string into points to the text box and click on the Save button.

Now go to your blogger site like again-

Now copy the highlighted string and simply paste it on google. below screen will appear 

Just scroll down

 Here we need to add the above-highlighted data into our DNS records – go to the GoDaddy account –Open DNS like 

Simply add your 4 IP address like – Click Add button – then select An option from type – like

In the Host text box add only @ mark and paste your IP address into Points to the text box.

Here in the above screen, we have added our 4 IP address - like

The final screen looks like this – you can verify below 6 highlighted records are added properly or not- in the Records section - before going further. 

There is another important option like Nameservers but here it's not needed we can ignore it.

Now you have completed your mapping process but it requires a minimum 24 hrs for sync your website with your domain name or sometimes it completed within an hour. We would suggest you can check after 1 hour.

go back to your blogger site like

Try to save the button. It looks like the below screen appear

Here your custom domain is mapped to your new domain name. but when we try on google for search its throws the below error.

So no worry about that we already told you it takes time for sync.

once it's sync also does below-highlighted setting like -

In Redirect domain - Map it from your domain name to www. domain name.

HTTPS: Alos activate the HTTPS availability & redirect setting - Mark button to the right side. 

For HTTPS setting activation - It takes some time minimum of 6 hrs. 

Purpose of HTTPS: Remove the tag like Not Secure from the address bar where we can type our site domain name. 

Here we have completed all the step by step process.
